About the network and chair
Head of Community Regeneration at Newydd Housing Association, Wales network Chair
I am a passionate community investment and regeneration professional who has worked across all areas of housing in my 14-year career. My focus has been on tenant engagement, community benefits from procured contracts, community and physical regeneration based on principles of asset based community development and genuine coproduction. As Chair of the Wales network, I am passionate about us sharing resources, knowledge as well as good (and bad!) practice, because working together we are better!
Family Engagement Worker at United Welsh, Wales Network Vice-Chair
I have worked in housing for over 20 years in a variety of roles from Housing Benefits assessor to Community Relationship Manager. Currently I am working for United Welsh as a Family Engagement worker on the Lottery funded Working Families project, as well as undertaking voluntary positions on the boards of Tai Pawb and CIH Cymru. I’m passionate about equalities, engagement and the value of lived experience as a driver for positive change in housing and public life.
