Make It Better, a community interest company based in Cornwall, are making up creative activity boxes, containing an activity sheet and the materials required to make up the activity. They’re working with local community associations, including Coastline Housing, to deliver the activity packs. The packs are designed for isolated people to undertake on their own or with their families. They are developed through the activity sheets they write up every week on their web site. They’re looking for more partners to help them deliver the packs.

They also have a number of activity sheets on their web site which are free to download until 1 June. For more information, contact Ruth.

Jenny Osbourne, TPAS, says in a post on Twitter in response to a question about what initiatives HAs are taking to support vulnerable residents / those on their own:

The main things I am seeing so far are: mass ringing of vulnerable tenants to assess needs: sharing info with LA: linking up quickly with other agencies in area to pool resources.
