Breathing Space are offering free online kindness and meditation courses
Its free kindness behaviour training will be led by the founder of Breathing Space, Dr Paramabandhu Groves, an ordained Buddhist and former NHS consultant psychiatrist.
This free 6 week online course in mindfulness and kindness would normally cost £230 per person but Breathing Space have made it FREE as it wants to support you and your mental health through this Corvid 19 crisis.
This Kindness and Mindfulness Behaviour Training course is for you if you want to:
– connect better with yourself and those who you live with
– actively boost and improve your immune system
– reduce stress and anxiety
– face uncertainty with more confidence
– combat the feelings of loneliness
This evidence is proven and clinically tested to work. We are excited to share our practices with you.
We also urge you to share this course with one other person – they may be your friend, a family member, or a co-worker. Doing this with your friends and families will help at this time, and also it’s a fun and healthy activity to do together!
How it Works:
You will receive a link to join Dr Groves via zoom every week. He’ll teach the fundamentals of kindness and mindfulness based practice, lead a guided meditation and answer questions over the platform. You will receive guided meditations and exercises to help you stay well between the weekly sessions. Stay safe, stay connected, cultivate kindness.
The course will run for 6 weeks every Thursday from 5.30-6.30pm, starting on Thursday 7th May. To sign up for free, please register your email address: http://www.breathingspacelondon.org.uk.
