About the network and chair

Karen Nicholson

Karen Nicholson

Community Investment Manager for Grand Union Housing Group, Chair of East of England Network

I have been in social housing for 19 years, and with GUHG for almost 6 years, managing a team who focuses on youth, employment, wellbeing and the increasingly vital health & housing agenda.  I love community investment and firmly believe that we are a vital part of the overall social housing service. I wanted to be Chair of the East of England network because I truly believe that what we do collectively and collaboratively matters, and I’d like to see us go far together!

Adam Castleton

Communities Project Manager for Cross Keys Home, East of England Network Vice Chair

I have worked as a communities project manager for just over 5 years for Cross Keys Homes housing association. We aim to empower our communities and improve life chances through facilitating support for young people, people’s health and wellbeing and employability/skills. As Vice Chair, I am looking forward to bringing new and existing groups together, listening to new ideas on community development and sharing best practice.
